These Terms and Conditions set out the basis on which we provide waste clearance and related services in and around Tufnell Park. By making a booking, using our site or confirming a waste clearance, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. References to we, us or our refer to the business providing the waste clearance services. References to you or your refer to the customer, whether an individual, business or other organisation requesting the services.
We provide waste collection and clearance services for domestic and commercial customers, including removal of general household rubbish, garden waste, bulky items, office waste and similar non-hazardous materials. All services are provided subject to availability, access and compliance with applicable waste legislation and regulations.
We reserve the right to refuse collection of any item or waste stream that we reasonably consider to be hazardous, illegal, improperly contained, excessively heavy, or unsafe to handle or transport. This may include, but is not limited to, asbestos, certain chemicals, clinical waste, gas cylinders, explosives, and other specialist or regulated waste types.
Our primary service area covers Tufnell Park and nearby locations. Acceptance of your booking is subject to your address being within our operational coverage at the time of your request. Where your property is outside our usual area, we may at our discretion offer services subject to additional charges or specific arrangements.
Travel surcharges, parking fees, congestion charges or other access-related costs may apply depending on the exact collection location and time. Any such additional costs will be explained to you as far as reasonably possible before or at the time of confirming your booking.

Your booking is not confirmed until we have acknowledged acceptance, either verbally or in writing, and agreed a date and time window for the clearance. We reserve the right to decline any booking request at our sole discretion.
When our team arrives at the property, they will assess the actual volume, weight and nature of the waste and confirm the final price for the service. If the actual waste differs significantly from your original description, we may adjust the price and other terms accordingly.
If you do not agree to the revised price, you may decline the service before any work begins. In such cases, we may charge a call-out fee to cover our costs, including travel, staff time and any parking or access charges incurred.
Once you have accepted the on-site quote and authorised the commencement of work, you will be deemed to have agreed to the final price and associated terms for that particular clearance.
You must ensure safe, reasonable and lawful access to the waste to be collected. This includes making sure that doors, gates and pathways are open, that any necessary permissions have been obtained from building management or neighbours, and that the waste is located in an accessible area that does not present avoidable health and safety risks.
Where parking is required for our vehicles, you are responsible for arranging suitable parking, permits or visitor access where necessary. If no free or suitable parking is available, any pay-and-display or penalty charges incurred during the collection may be added to your final invoice.
If we are unable to complete the service due to lack of access, unsafe conditions or failure to arrange necessary permissions or parking, we may charge a call-out fee or a proportion of the agreed fee to cover our costs.
You are responsible for ensuring that:
The waste presented for collection is your property or that you have full authority from the property owner or lawful occupier to arrange its removal and disposal.
The waste does not include prohibited or hazardous materials unless we have expressly agreed in writing to collect such materials in accordance with specific regulations.
The waste is not contaminated with sharps, bodily fluids, infested materials or other hazardous substances that could pose health risks to our staff or the public.
If any waste is found to be hazardous, prohibited or materially different from the description provided, we may refuse to collect it or apply additional charges to handle and dispose of it in compliance with applicable laws.
Our charges are generally based on the volume and nature of the waste, labour required, access conditions and disposal costs. We may publish guideline price ranges; however, the final price for each clearance will be confirmed by our team on site before work is carried out.
Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due in full upon completion of the service on the day of the clearance. We may accept payment by cash, debit card, credit card or bank transfer. We do not consider payment received until it has cleared into our bank account or has been otherwise authorised.
For business customers or regular accounts, we may at our discretion agree to invoicing terms. Invoices must be paid within the period specified on the invoice. If payment is not received by the due date, we reserve the right to charge interest, late payment fees and reasonable costs of debt recovery.
You may cancel or reschedule your booking by giving us notice by telephone or email. Where possible, we ask for at least 24 hours notice before the scheduled arrival time.
If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or if we arrive and are unable to complete the service due to circumstances within your control, we may charge a cancellation or call-out fee to cover our costs.
If we need to cancel or reschedule your booking, we will contact you using the details provided. We will use reasonable efforts to offer an alternative date or time that is acceptable to you. We will not be liable for any loss, damage or inconvenience that may arise from such cancellation or rescheduling, provided we act with reasonable care and promptness.
We operate in compliance with relevant UK waste management legislation and environmental regulations. All waste collected will be transported and disposed of at authorised facilities in accordance with the applicable duty of care and permitting requirements.
We may issue a waste transfer note or similar documentation where required by law or where requested by commercial customers. You agree to provide us with any information reasonably required to complete such documentation accurately.
Once waste has been collected and loaded onto our vehicle, ownership and responsibility for that waste transfers to us, unless otherwise required by law. We are not responsible for any items left behind that were not clearly identified or presented as waste, and you must ensure that no personal or valuable items are mixed in with the waste to be removed.
We will take reasonable care when carrying out waste clearance at your property. However, you acknowledge that some risk of minor damage may be unavoidable where items are large, heavy, awkwardly positioned or where access routes are narrow or obstructed.
We shall not be liable for any minor cosmetic damage to paintwork, floor coverings or fixtures that is reasonably incidental to the safe removal of waste, provided we use reasonable care and skill. You should take steps to protect surfaces and move delicate items where possible before our arrival.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to the above, our total liability to you in respect of any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with the services shall be limited to the amount paid or payable for the specific clearance giving rise to the claim. We shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, special or economic loss, including loss of profit, loss of business or loss of opportunity.
We will make reasonable efforts to attend your property within the agreed time window. However, arrival times are approximate and may be affected by traffic, weather, operational issues or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
If we are delayed, we will attempt to contact you as soon as reasonably practicable. We will not be liable for any delays, missed appointments or consequential loss caused by events outside our reasonable control.
If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, you should contact us as soon as possible to raise your concerns. We will investigate your complaint and respond within a reasonable period, aiming to resolve any issues fairly and promptly.
If we are unable to resolve a dispute informally, either party may consider appropriate legal remedies. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer, where applicable.
We collect and use your personal information, such as contact details, service address and payment information, solely for the purpose of managing bookings, providing services, processing payments, and for legitimate business administration.
We will take reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure and will not sell or disclose your details to third parties except where required to do so by law, or where necessary to provide the services, process payments or recover debts.
We may update or amend these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will apply to new bookings made after the date on which the revised terms are published or otherwise made available. For existing confirmed bookings, the version of the terms in force at the time of confirmation will continue to apply, unless a change is required by law.
You should review these Terms and Conditions periodically to ensure you are aware of the latest version. Continued use of our services following any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found by a court or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, that provision shall be treated as severed from the remaining terms, which will continue to be valid and enforceable to the fullest extent permitted by law.
These Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation, shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute or claim arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions or the provision of our waste clearance services.
